Hi and thank you for stopping by at my webpage! As the subtitle, “the art of authenticity”, illustrates, my focus is on living, loving and working as authentically, honestly, openly and open-heartedly as I possibly can. If I can connect with my inner truth and continually live from that space then my whole life, my relationships and my work will be genuine. My aim is to help you restore your genuine connection so that your life may be whole, fulfilled, healthy, happy and full of the joy of life!
I look forward to welcoming you to the yoga mat or to the hypnotherapy couch very soon. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or would like to make an appointment for a yoga class, a private yoga session or a hypnotherapy sitting.
I have been learning and teaching yoga passionately for the past 20 years. It has brought me joy, balance, curiosity and above all kept me sane during the wonderful but often trying years of bringing up 3 little kids with very strong, loveable and often mischievous characters! (now all grown and almost responsible adults!)
Apart from my daily schedule which you can see if you click on “Teaching”, I regularly lead Retreats, Workshops and Teacher Trainings. In 2012 and 2013 I was honoured to take part as a guest teacher in the 39th and 40th (Jubilee Year) EU Yoga Congress in Zinal/CH.
I am grateful to and for the many wonderful and inspirational teachers (formal and informal) that I have met on my path. My main teachers include Glenn Ceresoli, Lance Schuler, Bruno Dietziker and most recently Stephen Thomas and Ravi Ravindra. On a daily basis my most important teachers remain my students and my family without whom I could not have progressed in my understanding of Yoga and its manifold effects/benefits to life. My deepest heartfelt gratitude goes out to you.
My Hatha yoga studies started during my University years in the 1980’s in Bath, England. A few years later I was introduced to the practice of Sivananda Yoga in New York and Iyengar Yoga in England. On moving to Switzerland I went to my first Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga class with Bruno Dietziker. It felt like coming home! This powerful, dynamic practice challenged me to the core and changed my life in so many positive ways. It was from this time on that I wanted to share my love and enthusiasm for the practice with others and I began teaching at Yoga Works for Bruno and Airyoga.
In 2005 I successfully completed an International Teacher Training course in Zürich, under the professional guidance of Clive Radda, Glenn Ceresoli and Lance Schuler. In 2013 I completed my 300 hour International Advanced Teacher Training in Airyoga, Zürich. I regularly visit workshops here and abroad with international yogis such as Shiva Rea, Dharma Mittra, Anna Forrest, David Swenson, amongst others, and had the privilege of joining a week’s workshop with Sri Pattabhi Jois in London in 2000.
I qualified as a Hypnotherapist in September 2015 and since then have been working with students to help resolve issues that vary from fear of flying, fear of public speaking, anxiety, stress, burnout, depression, general change in life …. (click here to go to hypnotherapy for a complete list).
